We Would All Agree

I think it's safe to say we would all agree with your decision about the camping trip, not that you asked our opinion, but it's always nice to have positive feedback, right? One of our favorite commercials is for Staples, played in August/September is when the Dad is pushing the cart through the store putting in school supplies singing, "It's the most wonderful time of the year." Don't feel bad being glad school is still in. We all need a break especially when our kids are frustrating us.

My kids will be out of school on Friday. They aren't even making up snow days. I was surprised they were still in this long. Catholic school is a good fit for Carter. He seems to be doing well. The kids seem very compassionate and sincere. I have to share this one: Carter came home and said a girl who has always been nice to him from the start and has always answered his questions about activities, etc asked him if he would go to the movies with her if she asked him to. Oh my gosh. Is that starting already? I told him he should have told her it depended on the movie :) We'll see if it ever happens.
Hoping Emerson gets to go there in the fall. As I told Cari and Carole, if Jim gets a job he will (assuming there is still a space for him), if not, Jim is going to home school him. Not my first choice for sure, but it is only kindergarten. The job market is looking up so keep your fingers crossed.

Julie, hope you enjoyed your beach time. We are headed to Key Largo on Friday to take the boys snorkeling. It should be quite an adventure.....Will the van with 350,000 miles make it pulling a trailer that may possibly still leak when it rains? Can we live on hot dogs and peanut butter sandwiches for a week? Will the boy who is now terrified of canoeing actually get in the water to snorkel?

Can't wait!!
